1. Sprint Start For National Trials

This article is about the preliminary investigation of some athletes in Jamaica for the Pan American Senior Championships in Canada in early August. The Three topics in this article are that athletes in Jamaica and their fame will be high, hoping to their good result in the Championships.

There are many famous Jamaican athletes for example, Usain Bolt, Yohan Blake, Shelly Ann Fraser, Veronica Campbell-Brown, Sherone Simpson and Asafa Powell. etc. They all had been a medalist in many games and they are focused by world peoples. Especially Usain Bolt is known as the world record holder all around the world. In eddition they didn't take illegal substance in the past years so it is expected that sports fans will have more interest to them if they seem to do honest sports continuously. Thus I expect they will show us honest gmaes and get a good result in various track events of the early Championships if they demonstrate their full abilities.

2. Jamaica government announces major changes to drug laws

This article shows that the drug laws in Jamaica will be reformed formally. There are the though of Mark Golding the Jamaica Justice Minister, the information about the new drug laws, and the expected future view of Jamaican economy.

Mark suggested that marijunua, one kind of drug known as ganja, would be decriminalized for religious, madicinal and specific perposes and parliament is expected to approve his insist. I also agree his opinion because sometimes a little amount of drug can be used as treatments. If the government keeps it illegal, it is very foolish thinking. For Mark's suggestion, Angela Brown Bruke, Kingston's mayor, expects they can be provided an opportunity to benefit by operating the marijuana industry. About this expection, I think it will give a big earnig to Jamaican economy but if there are occured some abuse, all the more Jamaica will be damaged critically and lose their national fame.

3. Sandals spends $9b in 4 years in Jamaica

This article is about the investing of Sandals Resorts International(SRI) in Jamaica for past four years. Plus the opinion of Gordon Butch Stewart, the SRI chairman, also it shows how he manages the resort and keeps its fame all around the world.

Stewert said he will never stop investing in Jamaica as SRI, because Jamaica is the origin home of his company. So even though SRI is the world top resorts company, it spend many finance in Jamaica anually. Furthermore he puts emphasis on offering management and training of staffs in resorts. I think thanks to his effort, SRI can be known as one of most attractive resorts and keep the top fame. Additionally Jamaica can keep beautiful scenes and also earn big foreign exchange.

Thus I predict their uniqe style food will make a big hit and tourists will be able to enjoy their food. Furthermore it will be remained as a good image for many tourists so Jamaica can improve their national status. Additionally I think this Jamaican culinary team has an ability to win more prizes in world food contest.
